Mudskippers are remarkable fish that live in coastal mudflats, mangroves, and estuaries. They are best known for spending time out of the water and using their strong fins to move across muddy surfaces. These adaptations make them one of the most interesting examples of a fish that lives between aquatic and terrestrial worlds.
This Small Mudskipper Plush is handmade and measures about 6 inches long. Its smaller size makes it easy to display, collect, gift, or carry around while still representing one of nature’s strangest fish.
Each mudskipper is made one at a time by hand. Because of that, small differences in shape, color, stitching, fin placement, and fabric details may happen. No mudskipper is exactly the same.

About Mudskippers
Mudskippers are amphibious goby fish that can spend time outside of water as long as they stay moist. They are found in intertidal habitats where tides regularly expose muddy ground. Their high-set eyes, strong fins, and ability to move over mud make them especially unusual among fish.
Small Mudskipper plush
This plush is handmade with durability in mind. I work hard to make the seams strong, and I use small, sturdy hand stitches when hand sewing. I personally wash my own plushies in the washing machine using a cold, gentle cycle, and they have held up well.
Machine washing is ultimately up to the buyer’s discretion. If washed, use cold water, a gentle cycle, and air dry. Avoid heat.
This is a handmade product, so small variations are normal. This plush is made in a space with a dog, so please keep that in mind if you have pet allergies.
Thank you for supporting Funny Little Critters. Every purchase helps support handmade products and educational content inspired by real wildlife.
