The Veiled Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus) is a large, arboreal lizard native to the Arabian Peninsula, recognizable by the prominent, cone-shaped casque on its head . This casque helps channel water for drinking. Like all chameleons, it has a prehensile tail and independently swiveling eyes. Color change is mainly for communication and mood, not just camouflage. This insectivore hunts using an incredibly long, sticky, and fast-projecting tongue.

The Sea Sheep (Costasiella kuroshimae) is a tiny, adorable sea slug from the Indo-Pacific that resembles a cartoon sheep. It performs indirect photosynthesis through kleptoplasty ("stolen plastids"), by eating algae and incorporating the chloroplasts into its body.
