Extinct Critters
Explore all of our Extinct Critters using the categories below!

Extinct critters are animals that no longer exist today. These guides are created by me, an animal hobbyist who enjoys researching the incredible diversity of life that once inhabited our planet. While I provide a list of my sources and references, I encourage you to do your own research as well! Paleontology is constantly evolving as new discoveries are made, and our understanding of extinct animals can change over time.

Some entries focus on well-known species, while others cover broader groups that include multiple related species. In some cases, a particular species or subspecies has enough unique information to warrant its own dedicated page. Because many extinct animals are known only from fossil evidence, the amount of information available can vary greatly from one critter to another.

These guides are designed to help you navigate our growing collection of extinct animal information pages and discover the fascinating creatures that once roamed the Earth, swam its oceans, and soared through its skies.
